The whole officialdom of Batac City expressed their heartfelt thanks after the successful celebration of the 3rd Empanada Festival and the unexpected influx of people who joined and witnessed the whole-day celebration on June 23, 2010 wherein it also coincided with the 3rd year charter day of the newly converted city with former First Lady and 2nd district Representative-elect Imelda R. Marcos as special guest and speaker.
