The local government unit of Solsona received PHP1 million as a reward for being most outstanding rice achiever municipality in the country. Solsona mayor Alexander Calucag received the cash award from the Treasurer of the Philippines for the account of Agriculture Training Institute. The award also comes with a plaque of recognition signed by Department of Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol
