The San Nicolas municipal government emerged with three awards in the recent State of the Region’s Development Conference and RDC-1 Award and Recognition Program. The event at held at the Vigan Convention Center in Vigan City. San Nicolas won the Best LGU-NGO Partnership award with the San Nicolas Damilian Irrigators Association Inc. Dumalneg and their partnership with the Dumalneg Federated Farmers Association took third Bacnotan of La Union and their partnership with a cement corporation took second place. The award recognizes LGUs efforts in promoting a strong and sustained partnership and cooperation with the non-government organizations.
