Laoag City – Officials and residents of Laoag City celebrates the 50th Anniversary of its Cityhood on June 19. The Charter of the City of Laoag was passed by the fifth congress of the Republic of the Philippines by Congressmen Raquiza and Valdez, senior and junior authors of House Bill No 9366, during the term of late President Ferdinand E. Marcos.
