The Barangay Alogoog chairperson in this town was shot dead at about 6:55 pm on July 15, 2016. The victim, Sisenado Torralba, was earlier tagged as top drug personality here. He was also the younger brother of former Badoc mayor Thomas Torralba. The younger Torralba was gunned down along the barangay road six meters from his residence. The suspects were not identified and they fled aboard a four-wheel vehicle, which was also not identified.
