Piddig, Ilocos Norte—The November 2 killing of a young police officer along the highway of a thickly populated village in Barangay 3- Loing in this town is believed to be a ‘crime of passion’. Police officer 1 Jaymhartz Labasan Paragoy, 30, single, and a resident of Pansian, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte was on his way home to St. Anne parish convent where he temporary resides when he was gunned down and allegedly ran over by a white Honda CR-V heading west.
