The Laoag City government and the people of the city came together on June 21 at the Aurora Park to celebrate the city’s 46th Charter Day. The celebration would have taken place on June 19 but since the day fell on A Sunday and was immediately followed by the commemoration of Dr. Jose P. Rizal’s 150th birth anniversary holiday on June 20, city officials decided to hold the Charter Day celebration on June 21.
