PAOAY, Ilocos Norte—Local residents living near the Paoay Lake in this town were forced to evacuate their houses on October 8 after torrential rains and strong winds pushed waters from the lake to spill over residential areas. The Paoay Lake used to have“below par” water level but with the recent typhoon “Pepeng” (Parma).
