Farm


  Every farmer in Ilocos Norte is pre-occupied with the innate desire to produce as much of his needs as possible. Despite the poor quality of the soil, the Ilocano farmer manages to wrest a bountiful harvest from the land.

Dap-ayan


  This modest structure is usually found in the barangay. Made from light materials, its cool confines are where barangay officials usually holds their meetings. Young and old enjoy sliced green mangoes; tamarind and other fruits in season dashed with salt or dipped in vinegar, while neighbors exchange the freshest news.

Abel Iloco


Historically, Ilocos Norte has been one of the most notable producers of textiles in the country. On view are samples of clothing and weaves popular until a few generations ago.

Vibrant and full of enthusiasm, Gloria Aduana Cocson is a role model for every young woman possessing creative talent and an aptitude for business. Gloria was born in a quiet but happy neighborhood of Barangay 10, Barani, Batac, Ilocos Norte on April 4, 1942, the third of the four children of Policarpio Aduana and Consuelo
