The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned 13 ambulance units to the Provincial Governments of Ilocos Norte (PGIN), Ilocos Sur, and Abra in a joint ceremony held at the Provincial Capitol Auditorium. The Ilocos Norte government received six ambulance units—exceeding Ilocos Norte Gov. Ma. Imelda “Imee” R. Marcos’ initial request for two units. The ambulances were later distributed to Dingras, Bangui, Pagudpud and Sarrat municipal governments; the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC); and the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMH-MC) in Batac City.
