Coastal villagers of Brgy. Gabut Norte, this town rescued another stranded adult male rough-toothed dolphin recently. Found near the barangay shoreline with bruises all over the body, Arthur Valente, fishery regulatory officer of the Provincial Agriculture Office reported the stranded marine mammal appears to be stressed based on its behavior and absence of buoyancy and direction when found by residents. The stranded dolphin was taken care of by trained responders in Badoc town through intubate feeding, with the supervision of Mr. Valente and Dr. Jeneveve Suliva from the Provincial Veterinary Office.
