DR. Stanley Malab and Engr. Jose Zafaralla of Mariano Marcos State University receive cash incentive and plaque of appreciation from DOST officials and Agham partylist representative, Dr. Florentino Tesoro during the culminating program of the 2010 Northern Luzon Cluster Invention Contests and Exhibits for being chosen as two of the qualifiers to represent Northern Luzon in the national invention contest to be held in Cebu on November. Malab and Zafaralla engineered multiple use of bamboo technology when they invented the kawayan tile maker machine and bamboo charcoal briquette machine.
