SHE BECAME an athlete by accident. Now, Stephanie Cimatu, 16, of Bangui, Ilocos Norte has been acclaimed as the best Filipina javelin thrower as she recently put the Ilocos region in the national sporting map after she won the first gold medal in the 53rd Palarong Pambansa held in San Jose, Tarlac City.
