While encouraging more investors to take advantage of the favorable economic activity in this northern part of Luzon, which has been geared towards the development on eco-tourism, agriculture, health and education, a group of Filipino investors from Hawaii is shaking up the local economy by putting up a multi-million mango processing plant in Barangay Sulbec, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte.

The said plant has been officially scheduled to be inaugurated on January 7, with no less than Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle as guest of honor and speaker.
