Currimao, Ilocos Norte—Strictly for your eyes only. This was the message of Currimao Mayor Rosario C. Go, referring to the rock and coral formations and wild bonsai plants that line the shoreline of Barangay Pangil in this town.
Urging the preservation of this eco-tourism zone, beachgoers and picnickers visiting this site are prohibited to throw their garbage and gather bonsai plants with the rock formations to preserve the locale’s natural attraction.
Citing a resolution approved by the Sangguniang Bayan, Go related that any one found violating this would be penalized P2,000.
