Marcos Municipal Mayor Rogelio D. Pambid was shot to death by two motorcycle-riding men. Slain in his own town, Mr. Pambid became the second municipal executive murdered in broad daylight in the province in the span of two weeks. His position was taken over by Vice Mayor Salvador Pillos.
