Inauguration of Museo Ilocos Norte. The collections are housed in the old Tabacalera building, which also housed another ethnographic museum realized by then First Lady Imelda Marcos in September 11, 1977. The present Museo was set up as a project of the Gameng Foundation, chaired by Irene Marcos-Araneta. Budget: P4.8 million.
