Ilocano writers in Ilocos Norte and Cagayan Valley have asked DepEd Sec. Armin Luistro to stop the teaching in the elementary grades of the questionable Ilocano Orthography written by Dr. Joel Lopez, a DepEd official in Ilocos Norte.
