On February 3, the SM management and the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte represented by Gov. Ma. Imelda “Imee” R. Marcos inked a 20- year lease agreement to convert the Ilocano Heroes Hall into a commercial complex, ensuring the province a monthly rental of P1 million from SM developer, inclusive of withholding tax and a proposed three percent escalation cost to commence on the third year of the lease agreement.
