Governor Imee Marcos leads the first grand Halloween parade in Ilocos Norte dubbed as Parada Iloca-locana held October 31, 2011. The parade is part of the first ever “Semana ti Ar-Aria” weeklong event spearheaded by the provincial government. It began on October 25 with a film festival showcasing Filipino horror films and culminated with the traditional “Tumba”or catafalque in Paoay, Ilocos Norte on November 1.
