PAGUDPUD, Ilocos Norte – Regional Trial Court Branch 19 in Bangui, Ilocos Norte granted a 20-day temporary restraining order (TRO) on May 30, 2011, effectively prohibiting anyone to remove parts or transport removed parts of the stranded MV Nam Yang 8 in Barangay Balaoi, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. The TRO was granted upon the request of Pagudpud Mayor Matilde “Maja” Sales while a case filed in court is pending resolution.
