PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte—A ton of Dumadara, a fish native to Ilocos Norte akin to tuna, grilled and cooked in various ways attracted young and old alike at the Davila Bay as fisher folks celebrated the Dumadara Festival on May 7. Now on its 10th year, the Dumadara Festival became an annual festivity in this town as a way of fishermen’s way of expressing gratitude to the Divine Provider for keeping them safe from the sea.
