After reigning for 11 years as “hall of fame” champion, the Ilocos Norte team failed to defend its crown this year as Pangasinan II emerged as this year’s Ilocos Region Athletic Association (IRAA) meet overall champion. This year’s host division, Pangasinan II garnered 503.5 points in the overall ranking, breaking Ilocos Norte’s 490.5 points in the just concluded sports contest sponsored by the Department of Education. Pangasinan I placed third with 476 total points
