Jovelito “Lito” Agustin a local radioman was gunned down along the national highway here in Laoag City at about 9:45 pm on June 15.Agustin, 37, married and radio reporter and anchorman of DZJC Aksyon Radyo-Laoag, was rushed to the Gov. Roque B. Ablan Sr. Memorial Hospital and supposed to be transferred to the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Batac City but they needed to stabilize his vital signs so he could transported. The lack of available blood, was the main reason they could not stabilize him.
