A memorandum of agreement was signed between the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte and the Philippine Coast Guard, whereby the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse Development, Inc., was commissioned to handle the conservation of the century-old lighthouse at Cape Bojeador, Burgos.
