Travelers should make it a point to visit the town center if only to witness the sweeping view of the municipality’s rolling terrain carpeted with neatly ordered rows of vegetables, grains and fruit trees.

Suggested Itinerary

  • Visitors to Marcos should make it a point to visit the municipal complex. In front of the main building is a statue of Don Mariano Marcos and his loyal steed. Marcos has one hand raised as if greeting all those who approach.
  • The base of the Marcos monument serves as a nifty vantage point for visitors. From there one is given an unobscured view of the municipality’s rolling terrain carpeted with neatly ordered rows of vegetables, grains, and fruits trees.
  • Near the monument, at the base of the hill is Magdalena park. Visitors who enjoy strolling will like exploring the park with its wide collection of ornamental plants, testament to the land’s fertility.
